Well sad to say no buck for Tater in Illinois, but it sure wasn't for a lack of trying. We got down to Illinois Friday morning and saw nothing Friday night. But Saturday morning brought on a whole new day and missed oppritunity at a nice 140 class that saw Steve stand up but didn't know what we were but when he walked away he stayed out at 50 yards and Steve didn't feel comfortable with the shot and let him walk saying he needed 1 more year anyway!! Saturday night we ran into a 160 class that was out serching and just wouldn't come to any call we threw athim dumb does must have been on his mind. We did see 1 1/2 year olds stilling running ragged every doe they seen in the fields but then here came the rain winds and snow, we had the trifecta going and headed home this morning with alot of memories and filming my biggest kill of my life.Thank you Steve for another great season and good luck to all still trying!!Walt
