I have the 1300 Ranger. I shoot a Hastings extended choke tube in the .665and it seems to like the Winchester Supreme #6's. I've dropped birds like a sack of taters out to 45yrds. That is the farthest I've shot with this set-up and that bird folded over and never flopped! I wouldn't shoot any farther with it though. You will have no problem killing birds with that gun. Just do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for a good choke tube.
