The reason I asked isa guy at work metioned it because when in the stand by having it off if he moved the bow to the right say (right handed) to pick up a deer the quiver/arrows don't inhibit his sight or view no matter how minimal that may be.

That's just crazy talk. If it's mounted to the bow it moves with the bow and doesn't inhibit the sight picture anymore at aim point A than aim point B.
