RE: Got a Doe This Evening
Nice doe and I also am switching from those Hornady XTP sabots to Barnes 300 grain bullets and Harvester sabots.Mine ran over a 100 yards bleeding every 5 feet but crossed a river onto posted property which no one is allowed on.No more lung shots for me but only shoulder shots only for here on out using muzzleloader or rifle.At least if I take the front legs out he wont run as far and possibly give me a chance for a second shot.I should never have gotten away from Barnes bullets!
