Saw lots of deer & some great bucks!
Last weekend we went scouting for the upcoming rifle season. Between 3:30 - 5:30pm we saw a good 10 different bucks & 15 total deer. The highlight of the evening was seeing a real nice 140 class 8 pointer & another nicenon-typical 8 with a drop, fight over a doe. My brother & his 6yr old son caught it on video camera. Unfortunately its not digital so no way to get it on here. The fight was short lived and kind of lame, but sweet to see none-the-less. It seems the rut is winding down, from the stories I heard it was in full swing in mid November. Hopefully a few of those bucks we saw stick around for next week!
