I tried that years ago, I did not notice any diff. in flight. Though my testing was not that extensive.

The problem I had was trying to get that straight fletch in the right spot. With the jig I was using it was a real pain – It was real easy to be to far to one side and it looked like poop.

I say its worth a try if you want to use a prong rest – I would try it again if I went back to that rest.
