Default RE: Homemade blind ( I have an idea)

I think it is GRReat that you are getting your hands dirty and came up with a plan for your very own blind !How els do we learn and grow!
I hope you will post some pic's we would all like to see your project.

Here is what I did for a chair not sure if it will work for what you want but maybe it will help.
Years ago I didn't want to pay a fortune for a seat to sit on either so I made my own.
I used PVC pipe ( very light weight)for the frame then foam covered in camo material. I attached that to the frame, I used T's to attach two PVC pips to the top of the frame(biggert pipe to go over frame)so I could lean back at what ever angle I wanted by adjusting the poles. I attached another camo cushion to the bottom to sit on. I attached the camo materialwith straps and snaps. I added straps to carry it like a pack. I am however a mountain hunter and a minimalist so I only used it once but it worked well.It was a simple quick and very steady chair.
PVC would make a good light weight frame for a blind but cost more.
