Default RE: OK Doe Killers..some advice needed

See Gr8.....sometimes it pays to be a perennial nanny-whacker!

I'm in the same boat, now (sans the buck already in the bag[&:]). My brother was just here....and he wants me to take a doe for him if I can. I wihs I'd known that last night. I had the biggest one yet under my tree for a little while.

Like you (not saying YOU are "lost") I was a bit "lost" when the rut kicked in on the new land. I'd paid so much attention to the buck areas....I didn't know where to go to look for a doe group.

I can always fall back, though, to the old haunts.

Funny year there, though. The place where i normally see tons of does.....I'm seeing hardly any deer. I'm actually seeing more bucks there than does, right now (which was my goal, all along).

I have never tried calling to a doe. Wouldn't know where to begin.

Good luck....and let us know how it goes. I'm back in "shoot" mode....after passing does hand over fist. I've taken one deer in my last 55 hunts.
