OK Doe Killers..some advice needed
So since I filled my buck tag in Ohio, I bought a doe tag, to get time in the bush. Many of you know I've only killed 2 does in my life-time of hunting. 1 was when I was 14 with a muzzleloader and the other a few years ago with the bow.
Anyway heres where I need some help. I see plenty of Bucks and prior to shooting the one I got, I legitimately passed on at least 6 other chances at bucks. All season I've had 1 doe in range and was still buck hunting at the time, so I didn't shoot her. The thing is with a buck if I see him. I'm better than 50/50 and grunting him within range. And have blind called 2 others in just this season.
I see plenty of doe, but how do ya convince them to come to you? A buck grunt hasn't worked, I tried a fawn bleat once without success, it seemed unnatural at this time of year.
So gimme your doe busting tips..I know set-up differently, when I do that and set up where they came from, it's a proven fact they'll come out where I was!
So what say you???
