Default RE: If you hunt with both Bow and Gun; when do you see the most deer?

This question may not matter for those who hunt both seasons in states/provinces with high deer numbers, because you probably see deer all the time. That being said, do you see more deer during the Archery Season or during Rifle/Shotgun Season? Is it a matter of more time in the woods or other factors? Please explain. Personally, I hunt both (actually three including M/L) here in NH and it varies quite a bit. Some years I see deer a lot during Archery Season, especially mid-Oct and later. Peak Foliage always seems to bring the deer out. Other years, it seems just the opposite. My areas seem to be consistently inconsistent! Any thoughts??
I bow hunt and gun hunt...and usually seen more deer while I' ve been bowhunting. I think the biggest factor is the fact that the deer aren' t feeling any pressure and are still moving around to their normal patterns. They aren' t gonna hold up in cover because of loads of hunters running around the woods and gunfire.

As for during gun season...it' s usually give or take on whether I see deer. Most of them have been hunted for awhile and sit tight in thicker cover and move less and less during shooting hours...

Then again, people down here run dogs, so it is possible to see just as many deer during gun season I reckon...
