Hey Corey, get a White and they will load easy even without the QLA. I've shot close to 2 packs through my Umag .504, no need to swab for the first5 to7 shots using 110gr of 777 3F and a musket cap. Shoots under 3 inches with a peep sight at 100 yards and under 8" at 200 yrds.

Several posts about the diameter were posted several months ago with most coming up with similar numbers to yours. My own measurments show the very bottom of the skirt to be about .505 and the mid line about .499. My testing in the white also showed they stay in place when I tried to shake it off the powder.

You might want to try one of the push through speed loaders as a bore alignment tool. Place the bullet nose first into the speed loader then set it on the muzzle and use a short starter to bump it into the bore, then seat as normal. It would work similar to a false muzzle like is used on some target guns.

I like the bullet but not the price. If I hadn't got them for under $15eachI probably wouldn't have bought the 4 packs I bought.
