Oh Glen, the idea isn' t to struggle and make a mad dash for your concealed weapon...that would be foolish. You wait till you have a chance...if it comes, then you use it. Quite a few people have gotten the upper hand when they pulled their concealed weapon!

It has happened to me once. on private property I was supposed to be the only one there, and yes I did pull my weapon and draw down on him... The shocked look on his face when my 9mm came out just as he lowered his rifle and I had the drop on him, AND HE KNEW IT! he was only 10 feet or so away. Was he just bluffing me so I' d leave? I don' t know. If I didn' t have my weapon on me I might not be here today.

I understand some of the comments on this topic have been tongue in cheek, but some have not. Those of you who think it will never happen sound just like those people who used to say " No one will ever attack the U.S.!" Don' t you read the news?
