Maybe you should just keep this post going on the Midwest thread. I see you have it posted there anyway, why double post? I'm totally with dvallire on this issue, and I don't think that the 25% harvest reduction is due entirely to EAB. Weather, rut, and hunting styles have a lot to do with it, probably more than EAB. Some Units are in EAB for the first time ever, therefore they should see a huge increase in harvest No? I know guys who didn't register their deer yet because it has been so nice and cold they didn't need to. Two of our deer were registered on site by a warden, so they didn't take them in to the registration station, thus they don't get included in the report from that station.Lots of factors and it's a long season.
