Default RE: Hunting in the snow?

I will tell you honestly... WHERE WATERPROOF CLOTHES!!!!! I made that mistake one year and it turned out horribly. I hunted in the same conditions a couple years ago asyou are talking about but it was a wet snow.I had a water proof jacketon but even it ended up being frozen like a popsicle.my legs were completely soaked and it was miserable to say the least. it took me almost half an hour to get down out of my tree and get my climber and other gear packed up b/c my muscles were so messed up. i could barely move my hands and my legs were cramping badly. of course this was all faillure to be prepared but maybe you will think about the conditions and what to wear a little better than i did! That was by far the coldest ive ever been.
