I Got back late Saturday from Saline County. Opening morning was cold, but I never have seen so many deer. I couldn't get up the tree in my climber before I had to stop becausedeer were all around me. Only made it 8 ft in the air. In my 20 years or so of hunting, if I see one buck a day I am happy. I saw 8 different buck that were 6 or better opening morning and I don't know how many does. It was unreal. Afternoon hunt, I smoked my biggest buck ever, A big, High racked 8 pt that I am still smiling over. Once I can get the pictures from my buddy, there will be a nice long story up about him.
