Does it make me less of a hunter that I've never shot any does anywhere but the head?
I don't see any winks or smilies so I take it you are not kidding.

So to answer your question, nope not less in the skills department, just less in the human or should I say humane.
The furthest one ever ran was 2 steps that was last year, and I usually like them to go about 6 inches or so. It just more or less flopped that far cause she was 8 steps when i shot her in the head.... IDK im not joking one bit, I just would accully 100% honestly rather save meat. Because!!

And Rob knows about this cause he tried to teach me how to tell, I cant pick out big deer... the last 3 tags i've filled, have been little little deer. more they jump up i put the crosshairs on their head and boom the 308 gives them lead poisoning. It dosent even come close to Bowhunting, I dont even like rifle hunting I HATE rifle hunting 100% via its no fun for me cause I always think about becoming another statistic and getting shot. Thats why I never track my deer. I dont know Lemme know what you think about that, cause thats 100% honest really.

Ryan.
So you never did let me know what you thought about this....
