what can I plant?
I hunt over and around a clover field that has a corn fieldon the other side of a 20yd strip of woods. The farmer (dairy cows)cuts the corn just before bow season and the deer usually come to the clover field, which he cuts in late Oct. The problem is that the clover, onceknee high,is now gone, and has turned into nasty weedgrass. The whole property is only 87 acres but it abuts about 500 acres,with half beingopen corn field and the now gone clover field. I was wondering if there is anything I could plant out on one of the tote roads with minimal effort that would grow and maybe attract the deer. I am also planning to ask the farmer what happened to the clover and ifI could pay for the seed to replant it. He uses that field for feed for his cows, so what could I plant that would be good for his cows, yet attract deer?
