Default RE: When is it to windy for YOU?

You guys better never come to Western South Dakota. 25mph is considered breezy here. Wind is a fact of life here and we just deal with it. It doesn't affect the deer or their movement. We have days with sustained winds in the 30mph range with gusts up to 50 and the deer will be out and about as normal.
I usually don't let the wind keep me home. If it gets really bad there is generally a blizzard attached and you can't get out anyway.

Recently returned from a Nebraska trip and we had high winds the entire week. 15-20 with gusts in the 30 range. Didn'taffect the deer movement atall as we had a great hunt. Buy somewindstopper clothing and get out there!!
