Well I popped my first deer of the season this morning. It was a cold windy morning in Ga I wasn't to thrilled to be in a 14 ft. tripod exposed to the elements so when this girl came out at 50 yards. Slightly quartering toward me I hit her with a hand loaded Gameking on the front of the sholder it exited with a nickel sized hole low behind the opposite shoulder giving me a perfect double lung. She tensed up ever muscle in her body gave a half turn slowly and dropped dead two seconds after the shot.

Hopefully this is the first of many. The land owner called last week said that he is having a lot of crop damage and if we don't kill a number of deer this year he will find someone who can, so we are going to lay them out this year. I usually like to be a little picky about what I shoot but orders are orders.
