If the string is raking you down to about the middle of your forearm, then it' s likely form or draw length. If it' s stinging you down around the wrist, it might something completely different.

Check to make sure your bow' s brace height and axle to axle length are in spec. They might have creeped and left too little tension in the rigging.

If you' re shooting arrows that weigh around 5 grains per pound, try adding some weight to your arrows.

Check to make sure your nocks aren' t too tight on your string. They could actually be towing the string forward of where it would otherwise go before they snap loose. That will also cause tuning and accuracy problems and rob you of arrow speed and energy.
