I had one done that way 2 years ago. My taxidermist aged the deer at 3 1/2 by tooth wear. Cementum annuli aging showed the deer was in fact 5 1/2 as I originally suspected. Pretty neat and more accurate aging method. I can agree with others here that your deer does in factappear to be very old. I'dsuspect 7 1/2 minumum.
