RE: decoy question
I have had success with both. I don't have any strong opinions on which works best. On my last hunt the day before yesterday I had a 5 point come in to a doe decoy in the middle of the day. The important thing to remember is that a buck will usually approach a buck decoy from the front but will approach a doe decoy from the rear so remember that when you set your decoy up. My little buck first saw the decoy from 60 or 70 in front then made a wide circle to approach her from the rear.
I use decoys on most of my hunts. I find that they work really well. Good hunting!!!
