Well now someone has done it with quality. Yeah PSE did it. Theirs shoots 348. The new Mathews is 360, so for the speed lovers its an easy choice now.
Of course.... take a PSE X-Force... 6" brace height.... 348fps...
Now take the Monster XLR8 (sounds like a crotch rocket): 5" brace height gives it one more effective inch of draw length/power stroke. For every inch of power stroke/DL you can net usually anywhere between 8-12 fps.... since this is Mathews we are talking about.... we are
definately going to use the biggest number.
Lets break the math down....
348fps (X-Force 6 IBO speed)+ 12 fps (one inch effective draw length gain with optimisitc view) and what do you have???? =
