Well the snow let up a little to only light dusting from time to time and it was pretty warm, around 30 degrees so I figured I would see how bad that scope I mounted on my White Bison .504 would be.

The scope was a $49.99 Traditions Brand 1x32mm with a circle dot cross hair.I wanted to see if I could shake it apart. If not, I might grab a few more of them for some of the other rifles. The scope seems very clear and I mounted it with some cheap quick release Tradition rings. It seemed to go on real good and tight, so I knew some loads the rifle liked. This scope was told to me by a member on the forum here. And he said they liked them.

I set the target at 13 yards. I loaded 70 grains of Triple Se7en 2f and a home cast UC short mag that weighs 450 grains (that should stop Bambi). The first two were three inches low but pretty good left to right.

I made an adjustment of twenty clicks up and shot three more. Still low, but much better. You have to remember, at 13 yards a click does not mean too much. So I adjusted again with eight more clicks.

The next three shot group was pretty good. so I made one more adjustment and shot those two by the bulls eye. I then moved it back to 25 yards to make more adjustments.

The top right bull was with Bull Shop conicals in 460 grain and 70 grains of Triple Se7en with no wad. The top left bull was with the UC Short Mags 450 grain and the same powder charge. Actually on the left bull I made a little adjustment, aiming above the center,to put that last one touching the circle.

About this time, company came over. So I decided to call it a day.

So over all the scope looks good. I will be interest to see if it holds true since I took the scope off to clean the rifle. I want to get out there and shoot this again as this small Bison would make a great stalking rifle.
