To be clear, we are talking rifled (foster-style) slugs in a smoothbore.

Yes, they can be shot through a full choke, but either modified or IC will probably be more accurate. Remington sluggers may workbest if you only have a full choke, as they were intentinally a bit undersized. You still need to try a few to see for yourself what your gun shoots.

I would not shoot any other style slug (sabot or hybrid) out of a full choke, unless the MFR indicated it was OK.
