Idk if you are on AT or not but look up Crackers and you will find a good set of strings. Just look for the term "Crackerized" adn you will find your answer. He makes strings and "super tunes" bows and people think very highly of his work.

That is just one example i put b/c you didnt mention them. I personally know that Vapor Trail makes a very good quality string as well. There are many others that I know of that are good, but you wanted an answer why, and my answer is b/c ive used both of these, and know that they are excellent strings far exceeding the quality of original factory sets.
