RE: BBBD (big bodied buck) # 2 down
A few things I wanted to add that I found interesting:
He crossed my estrous scent trail and paid zero attention to it. I'm beginning to wonder if deer can tell that that stuff is not fresh from the insides of a doe?
There were so many points of highs and lows 'cause at times I thought he was in the next county due to the mere specs of blood we found. Then all of a sudden there'd be globs of bright bubbly pinkish red. He went at least 500yds total and if it weren't for the tall grass to wipe blood off his side and connect the dots in between the blood on the ground, we might've lost him.
I also think the 4 blades of the Slick Trick cutting a square hole instead of a triangle helped him bleed out more and faster as well. Like I said, I'll get up some daytime pictures tomorrow.
