That not a bad idea, but I think the BIG reason most guys are paying $$$$ for blinds is because of the ease of transport vs. a heavy homemade one. Not offense, it's a good set-up if you like it, but if you get it near where you want but not where you want what's the "ease of transport" of it. I've done similar things, through the years, converted a ladder stand in to a ladder to another stand just this year, etc, so I can appreciate the ingenuity, but a LOT of guys aren't as "FRUGAL" as you, WWaG, or I may be, and that's not something that's going to strike their fancy. In all honesty, I've started doing a LOT of hunting from the ground, no blind, no nothing other than a good pattern, and tactful movements, and I'm enjoying myself more over the last couple years, but there certainly are more blown opportunities as well.
