The controlled hunt here in South Western Ontario ( 1 week with muzzle loaders ) just ended . Our group did fairly well again this year considering how darn hot it was ( we froze in t5he morning and wore short sleeves in the afternoon ) .
My son youngest had no luck again this year . I was able to take a good doe with my crossbow ( the Saturday before the controlled hunt started ) and another with my ML . Brad my hunting partner took a button buck and then a 6 point .
Brad dropped the beast with a TC Omega loaded with 2 Triple 7 pellets and a horandy 250 grain sst at 65 yards . dropped him in his tracks.
The 6 point came in at an honest 270 #

He does have the luck of the Irish when it comes to good bucks . Here are a few pictures of Brads buck .
