The 82ndis a fine bow but that brace height is tough, there might be some deals out there on the discontinued 101st as a more forgiving option that will still easily break 300fps.
I shot the 101st and the 82nd side by side a good part of the summer. If you are 28.5" draw or less the Brace Height is a non issue. The 82nd is one of the most accurate bows I've shot in 40 years, as well as hands down the Fastest!!
I now owntwo 82nds and the 101st has gone Bye, Bye
