No. That is the scoutguard 550.

I don't think the d40 makes a good trail camera. I don't think the Stealth I540 IR would either.

If you want a good camera for trail use you need to step up to the $200 mark and get a scoutguard 550.

If you are using it for bait a D40 would work fine but the Stealth I590 takes better pictures for a little cheaper price.
