Glad things worked out, sounds like you tried the easy fixes first and that is the best way to do it. These problems are seldom as complicated as people can make them sound.
100 yard sight in sounds right for you.
That will put you 1" or so high at 150 and back to 0 at 200 and and a couple inches low at 250. These are approximates, check your actual rise and drop at the range if you can.
