In our hunting area of SW Michigan, anytime is a good time to take a doe as there are many. My brother was about to get down and head to work when the doe a 3pt was chasing all morning started running his direction. He stopped her at 25 yards and took out both lungs. Here is the blood trail taken from the POI.
