I'm glad you found the buck. I was wondering about tracking a deer for 4 miles? Was most of this tracking done on public land? How did the deersearch team or you manage to get permission to track a deer on various properties? If this isn't public land, I have no doubt that 4 miles worth of land in NYS could have been owned by a dozen different landowners or more. Knowing how things are in NY with hunting access I couldn't see every landowner in 4 miles being open to allowing someone to track a wounded animal on their land. Just curious how you managed to pull this off?
