The buck I shot this year had his ear split also. Almost like a peace was bit off. It was healed up, so maybe it was from last year. It was almost like it had a tag in its ear and it got ripped out, I no thats not what it was, thats just what it looked like. I guess these buck can inflict some realdamage with them horns when they want to.
