The story on the bird........ I was sitting at the edge of a field I've been seeing a few Toms out in, all the time. About an hour after light here they come, 4 of them. Two had really long beards, so I concentrated on them. I picked out the one that looked bigger in body size and layed him out. 30 yards. FirstLongbeard takenin the
fall ever! 19#2oz.,11 1/4" beard, 1 1/16" in. spurs. Total 62.875
