A .270 Sucks????
I've been shopping around for a new rifle lately, finally picked out one, a Remington Model 700 CDL. I've been hunting with a .243 for ten years and I love that caliber, but I figured theres no sense in buying the same caliber so I was looking at a .270 instead. Well, whenever I told the guy at my local gun store to order me a .270, he goes into a rant about how that caliber is horrible and that it has the highest percentage of lost deer of any centerfire caliber. Surely this isn't true? I know quite a few people who hunt with a.270 and I've never heard about that.
