Well, my brother-in-law and I headed to SD for opening weekend. Hunted near Mitchell and had a blast! We hunted private land, but there were roosters everywhere. Two days of hunting, limiting out in less than an hour both days. We hunted corn fields the first day, and sorghum on day 2.
My lab Gus had a ball flushing and retrieving both days.
you dont know how lucky you are to have hunting like that.
you know how many birds they stocked where i hunt 25,yes, you heard it, 25.
