I've shot several from 12-15 foot tree stands. I wait for a broadside shot & try forreal close to the front leg & center (up & down) of body. Usually takes out both lungs& my shots are usually between 10-20 yds.. Good Luck-they are the toughest animal I have ever taken with Bow & I've killed Elk, Caribou, Black Bears, Buffalo & many other Deer species.
