Try to get in on a hunting club in south Louisiana, and the fees are $800-1500 per member on marginal hunting land, plus - you are sharing this leased land with up to 30 other members[:@]. Now we are not talking about thousands of acres either - the average lease here is about 1000 acres (+ or -)[]. Most hunters I know lease land in Mississippi or Texas for 1/2 the cost here - including out of state fees. $300!!!! I would drive the 3 hours anytime!
