Default RE: Parker Ultra-Lite 31 VS. Buckmaster G2

I have owned both bows and if someone were to ask me which I would choose if I could have either again then I think I would pick the G2. Though slower than the Parker I thought the G2 was much easier to hold steady on target because of the slightly heavier mass weight. I also thought it was one of the quietest, most recoil/vibe free bows that I have ever shot.

Quality on both seemed to be about equal.

Prices in my area were $525 for the UL31 and $449 for the G2 so you may want to shop around a bit before settling on a " fixed price" for either model.

Though you did not ask for further suggestions I would like to also suggest that you check out one of the " local boys" . I see you are from Western PA and thought you might be interested to know that a local company has been producing a very nice 31 inch axle to axle length model bow for some time now. The bow in question is the Sterner Duttera Rhino 31. Their website is www.sternerduttera.com . There are a variety of dealers located throughout the central and western part of the state.

I happened to pick one up a few months ago and I must say that I am really impressed with the bow' s overall performance. 31 inch axle to axle length, 8.5 inch brace height....same cam as what is on the Parker UL series...right down to utilizing the same modules but with a bit more mass weight overall.

Hope this helps.
