RE: Best hunt with friends.
20 years ago you hardly ever heard the word lease and there seemed to be no shortage of places to hunt. We always respected property lines but if a wounded deer crossed a property line you went after it without having to ask permission. People knew their neighbors and knew their property like it was their own. More often than not the neighbor would be out there helping you find your deer just like you'd help him find his if it crossed onto your land. I just don't get why people can't get along. I wonder if "Buddy" would have asked permission to track a deer that he shot if it ran onto your land? I bet that he wouldn't, people like that usually have it all reasoned out in there head why they have the right to do whatever they need to do, but god help you if you cross onto his land. I bet Buddy Williams' grandfather had to sell the land that you hunt on when times got tough. This is just a hypothetical theory. I just don't get why neighbors can't get along and enjoy each others company. Maybe if you give him 5 lbs of venison jalapeno cheese sausage this fiasco can be avoided in the future.
