On private property I will hang and leave 2 or 3 stands tops. But on public land where I hunt most of the time, you had better not leave it on a tree if you want to hang on to it. Therefore I have Lone Wolf alpha hang on and sticks that I use for that. I can get 17-20 feet and be hunting in about 10 minutes tops. Then when I am done, I take it down and pack it out.
