Default Something to NOT overlook on new land

I spent the first two months of the deer season in the newly acquired land tring to locate bucks. I did this by noting terrain features (with a LOT of help from some HNI guys) and by my sightings this summer.

I located good areas and I've seen more bucks this year than last.

Problem is.....it's Novemeber 8th and I should be hunting where the doe bedding areas are. I've seen two small groups of does and one small woodlot that's got a good mix of both. The place I saw the mature buck (only one I've seen this year) is a spot where does frequent......but they're also sporadic. I've sit 4 times, there.....and seen 5 of them, once......and 8 the other time. The other two times.....I have no idea where they go (but it isn't on property I can hunt).

I have the lands I hunted last year to fall back on.....but even there the doe sightings are way down.

I never thought I'd say this......but I wish I knew where a lot of does were. I'd hunt the heck out of them (as bait). I need to find them TOO, next year.
