Me and my dad had a pretty successful weekend. On Sat. me and my dad went out for opening day of muzzleloader. I hunted the woods and he hunted the feild. We were late getting to the stands because he had to work midnight shift and didnt get off till 6:00. We got to the stands like 5 mins before daylight. I had just sat down and sent him a text saying that I was in the stand. I get my grunt out and put a primer in the muzzleloader and I hear some crunching in front of me. I look up and see antlers. In a split second, my mind just told me to shoot this deer. So I get the gun ready and shoot. He runs behind me.



I wait in the stand because I plan on shooting another deer. Its about 830 and I hear a gunshot and I check my phone to find out that my dad has shot a buck.


i also shot a button buck in the afternoon hunt. (thought it was a doe) no pics of that. didnt take camera
