yeah i use mock scrapes alot, Im going to start one this weekend to be exact.

Make sure when you clear the leafs away to make the scrape area you use a stick and not your boot or hand. The stick also will help you stir up the soil and sometimes that can be just as big a factor as the pee you put in it.

I have made mock scrapes in the dark and deer have heard me do itand came over and made there mark in it as soon as i climb up the tree. Shot a buck a few years back who came in to my scape.
