RE: Sight issues with bowtec
I fought the good fight but am ready to throw in the towel!![&o]
I' m thinking my main problem now is the Trophy taker shaky hunter set up. I shot it through the paper again and realized the nock point could be a little lower. Lowering it only induced vane fletching contact that would hit no matter which way I rotated the nock. If I lower my nock point to try and get the arrows flying flatter the vanes hit the rest. If I raise the nock to clear the vanes my arrows fly towards the ground at a sharper angle. erggg!!
I played with the cord and shortened it' s length. It felt as it it was pulling on my cable some. This didn' t seem to get me anywhere.
Now after two hours in the Texas heat mixed with gulfcoast humidity I am pooped. After a break I will TAKE OFF the TT and reinstall the WB to see if using it will allow the use of my current sight.
To add insult to injury I just ordered a dozen new bemans with R/H helical from the artesian arrow because I thought I was gonna use the TT. If I wind up using the WB I' m gonna need offset or straight fletching. I left a message with him to hold off if he hasn' t fletched yet, but I' m thinking he already did so. Does the pain ever go away??
PS- set up a friend (extreme solo) with a trophy ridge drop zone the other day. 5 shots through the paper and he was done. Perfect bullets, easy as pie!!
Hmmm, things that make you go Hmmmm!!
Thanks for all your help.
I' ll let you know what I find with the WB.
