i have hunted 8 days for deer, and 7 for elk all in october. Our deer season begain in Sept but i didnt hunt, and it doesnt end till late March. But bucks can onlybe shot from Oct to the beginning of Jan. Im hoping to get out more.

Passed up a ton of animals, waiting for a big boy or the rut to finish before i start shooting does.
