Whoaaaa...STOP!
Saturday, I was sitting on the edge of a thicket when a doe busted out at a trot, 15 yards from my stand, mouth open and tounge hanging out...he he. About a minute later, here he comes, also at a trot. Drew back but couldn't get him to stop. Tried grunting and yelling whoaaaa, but he kept going. I've stopped them before when they were by themselves, but is there ANY way to stop them while in pursuit of a doe? Does anyone have any tricks that have worked before in this type of situation?
