RE: 10/22 barrel changout
The match ammo such as eley, federal gold, remington-eley, wolf, rws, and some others have a relativly thick coating of wax or grease on the bullet. This works fine in single shots like Anshutz because the cartridge if fed directly into the chamber at a more or less straight angle. With an autloader it goes in at an angle so the wax/grease will rub off in the chamber. After a number of shots this will build up and cause the empties to get stuck in the chamber. That is why he needs to clean it out. Hope this helps
